Postdoctoral Fellow
Debamita Kundu, Ph.D., joined the Biostatistics Branch (BB) as a postdoctoral fellow in September 2019. She earned her Ph.D. from the Department of Bioinformatics and Biostatistics at the University of Louisville, Kentucky. In her doctoral dissertation, Dr. Kundu focused on developing novel Bayesian methodologies for multivariate problems. Her research concentrated on modeling shrinkage-based variable selection in multivariate regression and simultaneous covariance estimation of multiple groups.
Currently, she is working under the mentorship of Paul S. Albert, Ph.D., senior investigator and Chief, BB, on analyzing health effects associated with simultaneous exposure to multiple pollutants in the environment.
