Predoctoral Fellow

Shilan Li, M.S., joined the Biostatistics Branch (BB) as a predoctoral fellow in January 2020. She received her M.S. in biostatistics from Georgetown University (GU) and is now pursuing a Ph.D. degree in biostatistics at GU.

Ms. Li’s Ph.D. dissertation research is being done under the NIH Graduate Partnership Program with Jianxin Shi, Ph.D., senior investigator, BB, and her GU mentor, Hongbin Fang, Ph.D. Her research focuses on developing methods for modelling microbiome dynamics information (MDI) of multiple taxa with the constraint of compositional data analysis framework.
