Neng Wang joined the Biostatistics Branch (BB) as a predoctoral fellow in September 2021. He earned his bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Ohio State University in May 2015. Mr. Wang is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in mathematical statistics at the University of Maryland, College Park.

Working under the mentorship of Yei Eun Shin, Ph.D., Mr. Wang is developing hidden Markov model approaches for the estimation of sleep onset time using accelerometer data and is analyzing disease risks associated with circadian rhythm features.
