Summer Harvey, M.P.H.

Summer Harvey joined the Clinical Genetics Branch (CGB) as a postbaccalaureate fellow in 2020. Ms. Harvey earned her M.P.H. from the Department of Health Sciences at the University of Virginia (UVA) School of Medicine, Charlottesville, Virginia, in 2021. As an undergraduate student at UVA, she worked under the mentorship of Nicolas Wentzensen, M.D., Ph.D., Branch Deputy Director and senior investigator, and Megan Clarke, Ph.D., M.H.S., Earl Stadtman Investigator.

As a postbaccalaureate fellow, Ms. Harvey continues to work with Drs. Wentzensen and Clarke on studies of trends and predictors of hysterectomy in the United States, as well as associations of life course obesity with endometrial cancer.
