DCEG Fellows Present Posters, Receive Awards at 2015 NIH Research Festival

The NIH Research Festival provides a venue for NIH fellows and investigators to showcase their achievements and to explore the innovative research conducted throughout the NIH Intramural Research Program. During the 2015 NIH Research Festival in September, several posters were presented by DCEG fellows, some of whom received Fellows Awards for Research Excellence (FAREs) for their poster abstracts. The FARE Program recognizes outstanding scientific research performed by intramural fellows who have less than five years of research experience at NIH. Winners of this annual competition receive a $1,000 travel award to present their research at a scientific meeting during the subsequent fiscal year.
