  • Applying 3-Dimensional Printing for Radiation Exposure Assessment
    Scientists in the Radiation Epidemiology Branch utilize three-dimensional printing to improve methods for estimating radiation doses. Their customizable, life-size human “phantoms” will help epidemiologists and clinicians better understand the risks of exposures such as proton therapy and CT scans.

  • 2017 Fellows' Training Symposium: Big Data and Cancer Research
    The ninth annual DCEG Fellows’ Training Symposium, titled "Big Data and Cancer Research", was held on March 10, on the NIH main campus. Invited speakers described ways big data can be used to advance our knowledge of cancer; 25 fellows presented posters; and participants engaged in an interactive networking session with invited guests who offered their perspectives on career development.
