Laboratory of Translational Genomics Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Symposium In December 2018, DCEG hosted a day-long symposium in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the founding of the Laboratory of Translational Genomics (LTG), one of the Division’s eight branches. The symposium highlighted the history of LTG and key discoveries by the LTG investigators and their teams, as well as presentations from three invited speakers prominent in the field.
Jonas Almeida Named Chief Data Scientist of DCEG Jonas Almeida has been appointed Chief Data Scientist in DCEG. He is an internationally recognized expert on integrative biomedical applications that combine systems biology, computational statistics, and software engineering.
Sauve Awarded Prix Jules Brodeur Jean-Francois Sauve, Ph.D., M.Sc., a postdoctoral fellow in the Occupational and Environmental Epidemiology Branch received the Prix Jules Brodeur from the University of Montreal, Department of Environmental and Occupational Health.
