Why Be a Fellow: Outstanding Mentoring

Mentoring is a core value of DCEG and central to everything we do. Our fellows point to professional guidance as a key benefit of their training. Our investigators have been recognized, time and again, with awards for their mentoring skills. Fellows also serve as mentors to interns in the summer program or as co-mentors with investigators for fellows with less experience.

Fellows work with leading scientists in the field of cancer prevention and etiology research and participate in cutting-edge projects. Our investigators include epidemiologists, geneticists, biostatisticians, data scientists, clinicians, and laboratory scientists who conduct multidisciplinary research to study cancer risk factors from workplace and infectious exposures to lifestyle choices.
