The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) recognized DCEG fellows Corey Young, M.S., in the Biostatistics Branch, and Brittany Lord, Ph.D., M.P.H., M.S., in the Integrative Tumor Epidemiology Branch, with the highly selective AACR Scholar-in-Training Award. Mr. Corey Young’s research involves developing new lung cancer risk models with the goal of reducing health disparities under the direction of Hormuzd Katki, Ph.D., senior investigator in the Biostatistics Branch.

Dr. Brittany Lord studies diverse cohorts to reveal underlying factors that influence cancer risk  under the mentorship of Gretchen Gierach, Ph.D., M.P.H., Chief and senior investigator in the Integrative Tumor Epidemiology Branch.
