  • Dr. Katki's research demonstrating the benefits of incorporating HPV testing into cervical cancer screening has been named one of the top clinical cancer research advances of the year and will be featured in ASCO’s upcoming report, 2011 Clinical Cancer Advances: ASCO’s Annual Report on Progress Against Cancer. This research was published in Lancet Oncology.
  • BB Accolades at 2011 JSM: Dr. Chatterjee received the COPSS Presidents' Award honoring statisticians under the age of 41 for their outstanding research contributions and service to further the field of statistics and also the George W. Snedecor Award, which is given bi-annually to a statistician who has made significant contributions to the theory of biometry. Dr. Gail received the prestigious Nathan Mantel Lifetime Achievement Award for achievement in developing statistical methods for epidemiology. Dr. Ghosh won the Young Investigator Award from the Section on Statistics in Epidemiology of the American Statistical Association.
