Paloma Mitra, B.A., joined DCEG as a postbaccalaureate fellow in ITEB through the iCURE program in July 2023. In her role with NCI, she is assisting her mentors Gretchen Gierach, Ph.D., Director of ITEB and senior investigator and Jacqueline B. Vo, Ph.D., R.N., M.P.H., Assistant Clinical Investigator, with the Kaiser Permanente Breast Cancer Survivors cohort. She will also work on breast cancer and health disparities research. 

Prior to joining DCEG as a fellow, she was a summer intern working with Rachael Stolzenberg-Solomon, Ph.D., M.P.H., R.D., on the lipidomic profile of alcohol intake and pancreatic cancer. She received her B.A. in public health studies from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland in 2022.
