Overview

In this year’s Committee of Scientists (COS) survey, a number of questions arose about Technology Transfer.  The questions ranged from ‘What is it?’ to ‘How does it differ from the IRB or from the NCI Contracts Office?’ to ‘How do I request a Tech Transfer Agreement?’

In this seminar, Dr. Finkelstein will review the basics of the Technology Transfer agreement process, including when an agreement is needed, how to request one and what to when your colleagues ask you to sign an agreement.  (Hint: The answer to the last question is DON’T).  Dr. Finkelstein will also give a brief overview of the E.U.’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
