About the Seminar
Overall lung cancer rates in the United States continue to be higher in men than women. However, some previous studies noted higher lung cancer incidence rates in young women than men. In this talk, Dr. Jemal will present on data whether the higher lung cancer incidence rate in young women has continued among contemporary birth cohorts and whether this could be explained by differences in cigarette smoking pattern.
