Title: Risks of cardiovascular disease and second malignancy after treatment for Hodgkin lymphoma
Description: Hodgkin lymphoma survivors are a critical population for studying late effects of cancer treatments because of their good prognosis, relatively young age at diagnosis, and frequent receipt of radiotherapy and systemic therapy. This seminar will provide novel data on changes in risk of cardiovascular disease and second malignancies based on changes in Hodgkin lymphoma treatments over time. Recent study results promise to provide mechanistic insights as well as having direct translational impact.
