The NIH Sex and Gender Differences in Cancer Virtual Workshop Series will feature four 3-hour virtual sessions on different aspects of this topic between February and June 2024. The first session, on the topic of Basic Science: Biology & Genomics, will take place on February 22nd at 11:00AM-2:30PM ET.

This series of virtual workshops will bring together those that are interested in sex and gender differences in cancer in the areas of basic biology, genomics, epigenetics, immunology, clinical/translational science, as well as population science, to not only learn about the latest research findings but to also identify gaps in our knowledge, identify potential collaborative opportunities, and learn best practices for methodology and reporting. The series will culminate in a session with speakers and moderators to produce white papers summarizing the series for the benefit of the field.
