DCEG: Uncovering the causes of cancer, training future researchers

Researchers in the NCI Division of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics (DCEG) investigate the causes of cancer at the population level. Together with their trainees, our experts pair genetic and genomic studies of common and rare malignancies with classical epidemiological approaches.

Watch our scientists discuss aspects of DCEG research in interviews done in conjunction with the American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG). Topics include genome-wide association studies, HPV genomics, and Li-Fraumeni Syndrome natural history studies with patient interviews.
