Touring an NCI Lab (Video)

In September 2021, Francine S. Baker, M.S., postbaccalaureate fellow and iCURE scholar and Ludmila Prokunina-Olsson, Ph.D., Chief and senior investigator of the Laboratory of Translational Genomics (LTG), participated in a live social media event titled, Ask a Researcher: Working in a Cancer Research Lab. The event comprised a tour of the LTG, as well as a live Q&A portion where Dr. Prokunina-Olsson and Ms. Baker discussed why being a part of the cancer research workforce is so exciting, why mentorship is an important part of the process, what it’s like to work in a lab, and more.

Watch a recording of the full-length event: Ask a Researcher: Working in a Cancer Research Lab (53:30).
