Stephen J. Chanock, M.D., Director of NCI's Division of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics, gave the 2015 Jeffrey M. Trent Lecture in Cancer Research, titled "The Complexity of Genetic Susceptibility to Cancer".

The National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) established the annual Jeffrey M. Trent Lectureship in Cancer Research in 2003, to recognize the efforts of Dr. Jeffrey Trent, NHGRI’s founding Scientific Director. Read more information on the Trent Lecture.
