Jacob Tribble, B.A., joined the Infections and Immunoepidemiology Branch (IIB) as an NIH Medical Research Scholars Program (MRSP) Fellow in July 2023. He graduated from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, with a B.A. in chemistry, and is currently working on his M.D. at the University of Missouri School of Medicine. Prior to joining IIB, he engaged in research looking at the epidemiology of cerebral venous thrombosis with an emphasize on the racial disparities associated with outcomes and treatment styles.  

In IIB, Mr. Tribble is examining the burden of cancer among those living with HIV, with a special focus on Merkel cell carcinoma, under the mentorship of Eric Engels, M.D., M.P.H., Director and senior investigator, IIB.
