Lydia Post, Ph.D., joined DCEG as a postdoctoral fellow in the Occupational and Environmental Epidemiology Branch in September 2024. She will be investigating environmental pollutants, including air pollution, drinking water contaminants, and agricultural exposures, and their association with cancer risk under the mentorship of Rena Jones, Ph.D., M.S.
Prior to joining DCEG, Dr. Post earned her Ph.D. in epidemiology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2024. Her dissertation research focused on modifiable risk factors for early-onset breast cancers in Black and White women, including adverse childhood experiences and adult adiposity.
