GAME-ON & OncoArray: An International Collaboration to Discover Cancer Genetic Risk Factors

"GAME-ON & OncoArray: An International Collaboration to Discover Cancer Genetic Risk Factors," featuring DCEG Director Stephen Chanock, M.D., describes the OncoArray Network, which investigates genetic architecture and mechanisms underlying cancers of the breast, ovary, prostate, colorectum, and lung.

The Genetic Associations and Mechanisms in Oncology (GAME-ON) initiative, launched in 2010 as a joint effort of the NCI Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences and the Division of Cancer Biology, fosters intra-disciplinary and collaborative approaches to the translation of findings from cancer genome-wide association studies.

GAME-ON & OncoArray: An International Collaboration to Discover Cancer Genetic Risk Factors

The GAME-ON initiative was launched to provide a comprehensive analysis of genetic variants that influence the risk for five common types of cancer.
