Kehao Zhu, Ph.D., joined DCEG as a postdoctoral fellow in the Biostatistics Branch in February 2025. He will conduct research on identifying aggressive subtypes of early-onset breast cancer using RNA and protein expression data under the mentorship of Ruth Pfeiffer, Ph.D., senior investigator. He also works with Hormuzd Katki, Ph.D., senior investigator, on statistical methods related to cancer screening trials.
Prior to joining DCEG, Dr. Zhu worked at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle, Washington, and earned his Ph.D. in biostatistics from the University of Washington, Seattle, in 2024. His doctoral research included statistical methods in risk-based decision making and study design of cancer screening trials.
