Seyma Eroglu, M.D., joined DCEG in 2024 as a research fellow in the Clinical Genetics Branch under the mentorship of Douglas Stewart, M.D. She is working on NF1 duplication, SPRED1, and CBL studies.  Dr. Eroglu has a joint appointment as a clinical fellow in Medical Genetics and Genomics at the National Human Genome Research Institute.

Dr. Eroglu is board-certified in internal medicine and completed her internal medicine residency at Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Eroglu received the American College of Physicians Quality Improvement Excellence Award in 2023.  She earned her M.D. from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in Turkey. She has a strong interest in hereditary cancer syndromes and will start her Hematology-Oncology fellowship training at the National Cancer Institute upon completing her research at DCEG.
