Beth Maclin, Ph.D., M.P.H.

Beth Maclin, Ph.D., M.P.H., joined DCEG as a postdoctoral fellow in the Infections and Immunoepidemiology Branch in February 2024. Prior to joining DCEG, Dr. Maclin completed a T-32 supported postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She received a Ph.D. in social and behavioral sciences from the George Washington University’s Milken Institute School of Public Health, Washington, D.C., in 2022, and an M.P.H. in epidemiology from the Boston University School of Public Health, Massachusetts, in 2015. 

In IIB, Dr. Maclin works under the mentorship of Dr. Meredith Shiels to investigate access to cancer screening and prevention, with a particular focus on women’s health.
