Aiswarya Suriaprakash, M.S., joined DCEG as a postbaccalaureate fellow in the Integrative Tumor Epidemiology Branch (ITEB) in August 2025. She earned a bachelor's degree in public health from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 2023 and a master's degree in epidemiology and biostatistics from the University of Maryland in 2025. During her prior training, Ms. Suriaprakash interned in two computational biology laboratories, using genomic stool data to analyze phages, plasmids, and phage-plasmids and genomic lung data to investigate the effects of cell-cell crosstalk on vascular function.

As a postbaccalaureate fellow, Ms. Suriaprakash works under the mentorship of John McElderry and Tere Landi on the Sherlock-Lung project.
