Carolina Silva de Carvalho, M.S.

Ms. Carolina Silva de Carvalho, M.S., joined DCEG as a predoctoral fellow in the Laboratory of Genetic Susceptibility (LGS) in May 2023. She earned a bachelor's degree from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG - Brazil) in 2018 and a master's degree in genetics at UFMG in 2020. Ms. Silva de Carvalho is currently working toward a Ph.D. through the Graduate Partnership Program at UFMG - Brazil and NCI. 

In LGS, Ms. Silva de Carvalho is working on genetic structure and admixture analyses under the mentorship of Stephen J. Chanock, M.D., Director of LGS and Director of DCEG.
