Michelle Antony, B.S.

Michelle Antony, B.S., joined DCEG as a postbaccalaureate fellow in the Laboratory of Translational Genomics in the laboratory of Jiyeon Choi, Ph.D., M.S., in July 2023. Ms. Antony earned her B.S. degree in molecular and cell biology and community health from the University of Connecticut, Storrs. Her undergraduate research focused on cartilage regeneration approaches for individuals at risk for osteoarthritis.

In LTG, Ms. Antony investigates the function of genetic risk loci identified in genome-wide association studies that might contribute to lung cancer development, under the mentorship of Dr. Choi.
