Alanah McKeever joined DCEG in August 2024 as a postbaccalaureate fellow in the Laboratory of Translational Genomics (LTG). Ms. McKeever graduated from Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in human evolutionary biology. During her time at Harvard, she was a member of the Developmental and Evolutionary Genetics Laboratory, where she studied the impact of obesity and type 2 diabetes on adolescent developmental dynamics, under the mentorship of Dr. Terence Capellini. In LTG, Ms. McKeever is studying the genetic risk of pancreatic cancer, under the mentorship of Laufey Amundadottir, Ph.D.
