Prior to joining DCEG, Dr. Jung worked at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, working on molecular epidemiologic studies of childhood cancer etiology. Dr. Jung earned her B.S. in health promotion and disease prevention studies from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, in 2010. She went on to earn an M.A. in international studies and a Ph.D. in public health from Ewha Womans University, Seoul, South Korea. For her doctoral dissertation, she investigated the association and causal relationship between air pollution and infant mortality.
