Ms. Xueyao Wu joined DCEG as a predoctoral fellow in the Trans-Divisional Research Program (TDRP) in December 2023. She is conducting research on the interplay between germline genetics, AI-generated breast imaging phenotypes, and the risk of breast cancer, under the mentorship of Peter Kraft, Ph.D., Director of TDRP.
Ms. Wu is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in epidemiology as part of a Direct Doctorate program at West China School of Public Health, Sichuan University, China, after having earned a bachelor's degree in medicine in June 2020. She has published studies examining relationships between breast cancer with depression, uterine leiomyoma, and chronotype.
