Dr. Vladimir Drozdovitch presents an overview of dosimetry methods for epidemiologic studies of environmental exposure, including environmental dosimetry (ionizing radiation exposures from large environmental releases of radioactive materials, and dose estimates for local populations); dose calculation and uncertainty assessment; descriptions of important radionuclides and selected sites of environmental exposure; and dose estimates and uncertainties.
