Dr. Maureen Hatch discusses the health effects on workers and the general public after nuclear reactor accidents at Three Mile Island (TMI), Chornobyl, and Fukushima. She covers types and amounts of radiation exposures, cohort and case-control studies of cancer, and non-cancer effects (cataracts, cerebrovascular disease, mental health), as well as transgenerational effects.
