Tam-Anh Tran joined DCEG as a prebaccalaureate fellow in the Integrated Tumor Epidemiology Branch (ITEB) in August 2024, after first serving as a summer intern. Ms. Tran is helping to conduct research to identify rare and common genetic variants associated with melanoma risk in the Mediterranean areas. She is also working on the Sherlock-Lung Study, reviewing and harmonizing pathology and clinical data from various sites all over the world. Her mentors are Maria Teresa Landi, M.D., Ph.D., and Phuc Hoang, Ph.D. 

Ms. Tran is currently studying at the University of Maryland, College Park (UMD) to earn her B.S. in physiology and neurobiology.
