Current Chairperson-elect Dr. Merino, who joined the Council in 2013, will become the new Chairperson immediately following the 2016 AACR Annual Meeting in April. Dr. Mullooly was one of only four individuals elected from numerous applicants from around the world to serve as a council member for the next 3 years.

The AACR Associate Member Council fosters the professional development of early-career cancer researchers by promoting and supporting the mission of the AACR and acting as a liaison and influential advisory body to the AACR Board of Directors. Read more about the AACR Associate Member Council.
