In August, six DCEG staff were recognized along with over 4,000 other federal volunteers for their contributions to the health, safety, and well-being of our nation's most vulnerable children and families during Operation Artemis and Operation Allies Welcome, initiatives run by the Office of Refugee and Resettlement (ORR).

The Hubert H. Humphrey Award for Service to America is given every year by HHS to recognize top individual and team performers for exceptional and meritorious achievements that contribute significantly to the Department’s mission and goals.
