2023 Cancer Health Disparities Fellows' Research Award Winner Announced

In 2023, Kathryn A. Kundrod, Ph.D., M.P.H., Cancer Prevention Fellow in the Clinical Genetics Branch received the DCEG Fellow's Cancer Health Disparities Research Award was for her project proposal, "Optimizing analytical performance of urine-based HPV testing in Guatemala."

The DCEG Cancer Health Disparities Research Award encourages postdoctoral trainees to initiate new and highly innovative cancer disparity and/or minority health research projects that they will continue into their independent research careers. Winners of the DCEG Cancer Health Disparities Research Award receive up to $75,000 of supplemental funding.
