2023 Diversity Career Development Program Selections

Postdoctoral fellows Oscar Florez-Vargas, Ph.D., M.Sc., in the Laboratory of Translational Genomics and Eleanor L. Watts, D.Phil., M.P.H., in the Metabolic Epidemiology Branch, were selected for the 2023 NCI Diversity Career Development Program (DCDP). The program seeks to provide NCI postdoctoral trainees, including but not limited to those from underrepresented and disadvantaged groups, with the tools necessary to develop as leaders in independent academic research careers. DCDP is an important part of NCI’s efforts to build and support a diverse biomedical research workforce.
