2022 DCEG Outstanding Mentor Award

In 2022, Aimée R. Kreimer, Ph.D., senior investigator in the Infections and Immunoepidemiology Branch, was recognized for outstanding mentorship. She was nominated and selected to receive the 2022 DCEG Mentoring Award by the DCEG fellow community. Below is the inscription on her award plaque, sourced from the nominating materials submitted by trainees. 

"Aimée Kreimer is a compassionate and uplifting mentor who continually prioritizes the interests and wellbeing of her mentees.

She is a true leader who creates time to listen, provides respectful, constructive feedback, seeks opportunities for her trainees, and continuously celebrates their achievements.

Aimée is an exemplary role model for women in science and truly cares about training the next generation of inclusive and diverse scientists."
