Jacqueline B. Vo Appointed Assistant Clinical Investigator

Jacqueline B. Vo., Ph.D., R.N., M.P.H., was appointed assistant clinical investigator in the Radiation Epidemiology Branch in October 2022. She is the first nurse appointed as assistant clinical investigator in the NCI. 

Dr. Vo came to DCEG as a cancer prevention fellow in 2019. She works with Gretchen Gierach, Ph.D., M.P.H., Chief and senior investigator in the Integrative Tumor Epidemiology Branch, to examine treatment-related cardiovascular disease and health inequities among cancer survivors and the disaggregation of Asian American from Pacific Islander individuals. She was appointed co-principal investigator on NCI-DCEG’s Kaiser Permanente Breast Cancer Survivors Cohort in 2022. In 2021, Dr. Vo received the DCEG Cancer Health Disparities Research Award and the NCI Director’s Award: Champion Award for Emerging Leaders.
