DCEG Investigators Present at EPICOH 2014

In June, investigators from the Occupational and Environmental Epidemiology Branch (OEEB) participated in the 24th International Epidemiology in Occupational Health (EPICOH) Conference in Chicago, Illinois. EPICOH, which is part of the International Commission on Occupational Health, provides a forum for epidemiologists, occupational hygienists, and other occupational health scientists to share information and discuss issues related to occupational exposures and their effects on human health. The theme of this year’s meeting was “Challenges in Occupational Epidemiology for the 21st century.”
OEEB staff members presented talks on a variety of subjects:

Linda Liao, Ph.D. (formerly a fellow in OEEB)

Nathaniel Rothman, M.D., M.P.H., M.H.S.
“The contribution of molecular epidemiology to studying occupational disease: Some accomplishments to date and opportunities for future”
