Henderson Receives ISBER Distinguished Leadership and Service Award

In May 2015, Marianne K. Henderson, M.S., CPC, Senior Advisor for Division Resources, received the Distinguished Leadership and Service Award from the International Society for Biological and Environmental Repositories (ISBER), the leading international forum for addressing the technical, legal, ethical, and managerial issues relevant to repositories of biologic and environmental specimens.

The award, which is given at the society’s annual meeting, recognizes Ms. Henderson for her longstanding contributions to the society, which include a term as ISBER president from 2011-2012 and service as co-chair of the Program Committee. Since 2013 she has led the Organizing Committee for the annual meeting.
