In March 2015, Sam M. Mbulaiteye, MBChB, M.Phil., M.Med., presented his research on Burkitt lymphoma for the prestigious NIH Director's Seminar Series. Dr. Michael Gottesman, NIH Deputy Director for Intramural Research, introduced Dr. Mbulaiteye and his research on the interaction of the environment and human disease, and how it affects cancer risk, particularly in developing countries.
