Service and Science Recognized at NIH Director’s Awards

DCEG was well-represented at the NIH Director’s Award Ceremony in July 2019. The Division congratulates the following individuals on receiving an NIH Director’s Award:

  • Stephen Chanock, for 25 years of service as the medical director of Camp Fantastic, an annual week-long summer camp for children with cancer
  • The Agricultural Health Study Research Team, for their sustained collaborations across NCI and NIEHS in leading efforts to understand the health of farmers and their families
  • Lindsay Morton and the NIH Women Scientist Advisors Executive Committee, for their leadership in advocating for women scientists’ issues in the workplace
