DCEG Scientists Contribute to the 2014 NIH Research Festival

The NIH Research Festival provides a venue for NIH investigators to showcase their achievements and to explore the innovative research conducted throughout the NIH Intramural Research Program. DCEG scientists contributed to the success of the 28th annual NIH Research Festival in September by giving talks and presenting posters.
Charles E. Matthews, Ph.D., and Elizabeth Yanik, Ph.D., both presented during a Concurrent Symposia on the Epidemiology of Aging. Dr. Matthews spoke on “Sedentary behavior, physical activity, and health,” and Dr. Yanik presented “Oral leukoplakia and oral cavity cancer risk among elderly adults in the U.S. 2002-2009.”
