Nicolas Wentzensen Receives ASCCP Distinguished Scientific Award

In April 2018, Nicolas Wentzensen, M.D., Ph.D., senior investigator and Deputy Chief, Clinical Genetics Branch, received the Distinguished Scientific Award from the ASCCP - The Society of Lower Genital Tract Disorders. At their annual business meeting on April 18, Dr. Wentzensen received the Society’s highest honor for his role in leading the Colposcopy Standards project. This important work will have immediate and lasting benefits for the millions of women in the United States and around the world who undergo cervical cancer screening.
